Research interests lie in the field of strategic change in the public services, notably public sector services
planning, as well as in health care reform, and the involvement of service users in planning. PhD fieldwork
focused on the implementation of planning and performance in the health sector in Ireland in comparison
to international practice, particularly Canada.
