I work on issues facing vulnerable groups inlcuding minority ethnic groups, fuel poverty, social exclusion

 Details about Expertise / Competences / Technologies
Deputy Director of SHUSU and a Chartered Psychologist. I have personal expertise in a variety of qualitative approaches having worked extensively with ‘hard to engage’ communities. He has led many consultation studies within SHUSU on ‘hidden’ communities or areas of community tension including: regeneration, asylum seekers and refugees, homelessness, Roma, Gypsies and Travellers, fuel poverty and energy efficiency. I have been responsible for managing around 40 externally funded research projects with a combined value of around £1.5 million over a 6-year period. Currently working on projects funded by the European Commission, EPSRC, numerous local authorities and charitable organisations.
