Aoife Callan is a researcher at the Irish Centre for Social Gerontology at the National University of Ireland
Galway. Some of her current research involves conducting and analysing a national contingent valuation
study to assess willingness to pay for technology-based community care programmes for older people in
Ireland. Aoife is also involved in researching older women workers and pensions in a North-South study
with Queens University Belfast. Aoife has been based at ICSG and a member of the TRIL research centre
since 2007.
