Brief description of your activity focus
European Renaissance Drama and Reformation Literature.

Details about Expertise / Competences / Technologies
I am an international expert in the fields of Renaissance drama and Reformation literature. My research is textual, practice led and applied. I have recently completed a major research project funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council entitled Staging the Henrician Court. This project was a partnership with Historic Royal Palaces. At its center was a research led production of The Play of the Weather, John Heywood, 1532? which took place in the Great Hall at Hampton Court Palace - see www.stagingthecourt.org

Before entering academia I was a professional stage and production manager. I am currently working on a number of projects including a monograph on the history of the English stage. I am currently working as dramaturge for Historic Royal Palaces. In this role I will be centrally involvemed in three theatrical productions at Hampton Court. The first will be a promenade version of The Rover, Aphra Behn, 1677, in June 2012.
