ARKs mission, broadly interpreted, is to make social science information of Northern Ireland as widely available as possible.

 Details about Expertise / Competences / Technologies
ARK maintains CAIN (Conflict Archive on the INternet) website, the definitive website on the Northern Ireland conflict. ARK also fields three annual social attitudes surveys (NILT, YLT and KLT) on adults, 16 year-olds and 11 year-olds and facilitates access to many of the other significant surveys and datasets on Northern Ireland.
ARK also runs a regular series of research seminars and policy forums.

ARK is seeking to spread its expertise on developing research infrastructure support for peripheral regions to other parts of the European research area. ARK is interested in helping other bodies in peripheral regions to develop applications for research infrastructure support and to set up a consortium of such bodies.
