I hold a Doctorate degree in Economics of the School of Economic Sciences, University of Buenos Aires.
I also completed postgraduate studies in Monetary and Financial Economics at the Central Bank of Argentina and in International Economics at the Graduate Institute of International Studies.
I currently work as a Full Time Lecturer at the Institute of Research in Economics at the School of Economics of the University of Buenos Aires. In particular, I am teaching the course The International Financial Crisis and its Impact on Emerging Countries in the context of the Doctorate Department of this institution.
I taught International Economics and Economic Problems of Latin America at Queens College, CUNY, Latin America’s Economy at Brandeis University, Latin American Economic Development and Sociology of Development at University of California, San Diego, and International Finance at Webster University.
I was awarded scholarships from the Latin American Studies Association, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, and the Fulbright Commission. In addition, I was invited to present a lecture at the Latin American Program Speaker series at University of Washington.
I published papers on a wide range of topics with the Latin American Studies Association, the Argentine Association of Political Economy, the University of Buenos Aires, the Argentine Catholic University, the Federal Investment Council, etc. My book ‘Latin America in the era of globalization’ was published by the Professional Council in Economic Sciences of Buenos Aires. I presented papers at international meetings in the United States, Argentina, and Uruguay. Moreover, I pursued many courses and attended many seminars in Argentina and abroad.

At the national level. I am the Director of a Research group that investigates The Crisis, the International Financial Architecture and the G20: Implications for Latin America in the context of the School of Economics of the University of Buenos Aires.
