Expertise in mediation as part of public decision processes and research focus on CSR and its impacts.

Regine Barth is Head of the Environmental Law & Governance Division of the german Öko-Institut, an independent non-profit research organisation. Additionally she has been and is coordinating two EU FP6 Projects (RARE / EUPOPP) and one EU FP7 Project (IMPACT).
The research focus is on CSR, with special focus on the impacts of CSR on society and environment. As well RARE as IMPACT tried and try to find out what are the actual effects of CSR on a societal basis. Additionally IMPACT is the largest CSR project funded by the EU so far.
A second focus is on public participation within decision processes mainly parallel to large infrastructural projects. During her activity as head of the Environmental Law & Governance Diviison Regine Barth could earn long lasting experience in this field of activity.
