Dr. Vassil Kirov has a MA degree in HR management and a PhD in sociology from Institut d’etudes politiques
de Paris. Dr. Kirov possesses more than 10 years of experience as a researcher, consultant and lecturer. He
has worked on many projects, related to the enterprise transformation and social dialogue in Bulgaria and
South East Europe. Currently he is a lecturer at Sofia University “Sv. Kliment Ohridski”, Master’s Degree
Programme “Labour Markets and Development of the Human Resources”, l’École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts
et Métiers, Cluny and Sciences Po, France. The main fields of his research include enterprise
transformation, industrial relations and employment policies. In the last few years he has participated in
many research projects; he has been an associate expert to a number of international organizations
(European Commission, UNDP, ILO, ILO-ITC, Fundamental Rights Agency, etc.) and has published articles in
European scientific magazines.
