Health service use, health status and quality of life among families and children in transition (e.g., immigrants, homeless, foster care)
Details about Expertise / Competences / Technologies
In the past 35 years, my experience includes having been a clinician, evaluator, program developer and researcher to promote health care access and reduce inequity among vulnerable populations. With more than 15 competitive grants and 60+ peer-reviewed publication, most studies (primarily quantitative although some are mixed methods) focus on health status, risk, and services for children, adults and families living in impoverished and transitional situations (i.e., new immigrants, homeless individuals, and youth in foster care/group homes) in Israel, in the United States, and globally.
