Research Courts and Residences, the structure of society and literature on the courts in the Middle Ages in the Czech lands and Mediaeval Europe.

 Details about Expertise / Competences / Technologies
The Research centre Courts and Residences in the Middle Ages of the Institute of History Academy of Science in the Czech Republic works since 2013, but the Working Group had started work in 2005. There were three International conferences in Prague (2005, 2008, 2009). Since 2013 we work according to the Plan, we have specific topics of the conferences until 2020. Main research focuses on the life in the medieval courts, specially the royal court, courts of nobility, courts of prelates, women and children on the courts, courtly literature.
