Details about Expertise / Competences / Technologies
The IRD is a nonprofit that promotes innovation through research and innovation in the field of robotics with the
aim of improving the quality of life of dependent people, their families and professionals supporting them. We are
also a pilot plant for tests with final users thanks to our residency for adult people with disabilities and the
agreements we have achieved with the sector in Spain and Europe.

Created in 2015, in its short journey the IRD has not only signed partnerships with key players in the dependency
sector, but also with key robotic companies, and has published articles in international scientific journals,
presented papers at various conferences, led the creation of several European H2020 consortia’s and reached
agreements with various European universities and research centers. The IRD has gathered compliments to the
project among experts of the technology and dependency sector.
