Camera a Sud is an Italian cooperative that works on training, audio-visuals and video research.
It was founded in 2010 and animated by the need to melt audio-visual tools with the social dimension in order to
develop new languages of effective communication.
The founders interest for social issues brought them up to build the web community www.comunicareilsociale.it: a
virtual place assuring visibility to social entities and giving them the chance to introduce themselves to the non
profit world using the web.
Camera a Sud is not only a projectized organization as it is experienced in TRAINING COURSES and WORKSHOP,
promoting and sharing its vision and passion for communication and videos.
They are courses, which involve both its internal Human resources and external teachers focused on the theme of
photo editing, video- directing and editing.
During the last years, Camera a Sud has been focusing on training workshop about MEDIA EDUCATION (in schools
and learning environments) and about multimedia tools aimed at developing effective and specific

communication in its theoretical and practical sides.

GIANLUCA SCIANNAMEO: Freelance, journalist and communication expert.
DONATELLA SPARAPANO: Biosystemic counsellor; since 2003 has dealt with planning, training, social inclusion,
intercultural communication, cooperation, human rights and social communication.
GENNARO DE PINTO: Video maker, light designer and stage technician for live performance (music and theatre)
and artistic installation.
BARBARA SIMONE: She is a graphic designer graduated in “Industrial design and communication” at I.S.I.A.
Institute in Florence.
ANTONIO CASAROLA: Supervisor, advisor, counsellor on projects about social, educational and health areas
particularly in the specific field of Migration and Work sociology.
MICHELE GIOVINAZZO: Project management and social project designing.
IRENE SASSO: Expert in movie, TV and multimedia productions.

1) “Quasi la felicità. Storie di donne e lavoro” - Dipartimento della Gioventù e del Servizio Nazionale.

Communication campaign and video spot produced on gender stereotypes topics in collaboration with students and
teachers of “Mons. Bello” High School from Molfetta. The work was the final result of a project supported by European
Social Structural Funds.
5) Big!Bari International Gender Film Festival - Fondi P.O. FESR Puglia 2007-2013 - Azione 4.3.1
In November 2015 achieved the concept and creation of design and graphics for the “Bari International Gender Film
Festival - BIG-” as partner of a network which won a regional call (Apulia Film Commission).
6) Conciliare in Puglia - Avviso Regionale 2/2012 Puglia
Achieved the graphics and the social media management for a project in order to evaluate the social policies effects
on behalf of Regional Centre for Social Policies.
7) Balance. Esperimenti e strategia per genitori equilibristi - Laboratori dal Basso - ARTI Puglia
Achieved the artwork for a laboratory about relationship among work, family and role of parents in that dimension
