Ander Delgado has a Degree in History by the Autonomous University of Madrid and Ph. D. in Contemporary History by the University of the Basque Country. Now he is a professor of the Department of Social Sciences Didactics, of the Teachers Training School at the University of the Basque Country (Campus of Leioa). His research issues have been related with the transformation of politics and nationalism in the Basque Country in the Nineteenth and Twentieth centuries. He has published several books in these topics and articles in reviews as European History Quarterly, Historia Contemporánea, Ayer or Journal of Social History. Nowadays, he is researching about Basque Schools (Ikastolas) and pedagogical movements during the sixties and Seventies and has published articles in reviews as FORUM: for promoting 3-19 comprehensive education o History of Education. He also is developing a research line about History syllabus and history textbooks in the Basque Country during the democratic period.
