 Details about Expertise / Competences / Technologies
My research focuses on stress, coping and emotions. Particularly, how these variables can influence physical, mental
health outcomes, well-being as well as performance indicators. My research involves different stakeholders in sport
and occupational health settings and so far, I have collaborated with colleagues across different disciplines in the
pursue of a holistic research approach to address important societal challenges. Findings from my work have helped
to inform applied practices across a variety of populations such as athletes, police forces, fire fighters, bus drivers
and nurses.
