Details about Expertise / Competences / Technologies
Ever since it was inaugurated, Auditorium Parco della Musica has become a consolidated reality on the cultural
scene of both the city of Rome and the entire country, a resounding landmark for the quality of its programmes
and the consistently high audience turnout.
Fondazione Musica per Roma season is well known for being multidisciplinary with a special focus on Music,
Culture&Education, Art and Dance. Its calendar features concerts devoted to jazz, pop, rock, electronic and

Piano’s definition of the Auditorium as a “cultural factory” is becoming ever more apt as time goes by.
Apart from music concerts taking place all over the year, every month is devoted to special events, gathering
specific audiences: January to science, February to contemporary dance, March to Book Festival (with
international eminent writers and an audience of 30.000 in 4 days), May to Landscape Architecture and Exterior
Design Festival (on 4-hectare Hanging Gardens, an audience of 20.000 in 3 days), September to Haute cuisine
Taste of Rome Festival (with an audience of 20.000 people in 4 days); October to Flamenco or Tango Festival and
the International Rome Film Fest (organised by Cinema per Roma, with an audience of 150.000 people). Among
these, the Music Festivals play a central role: remarkable is the well-known Luglio suona bene Festival with
worldwide music stars (pop, rock, ethno, electronic) and an audience of 120.000 people; the November
International Rome Jazz Festival; the Christmas and Gospel Festival in December with more than 40 events
especially conceived for families and kids and an audience of 80.000.
