Applied Medical Ethnomusicology in Indigenous Australia

Details about Expertise / Competences / Technologies
I have a PhD in Applied Ethnomusicology. My research focussed on choral singing and how it can influence constructs of identity. My fieldwork was undertaken with the help of and permission of the Australian Indigenous Hopevale Community, Northern Queensland, Australia. My research currently aims to explore how engagement with music can benefit the wellbeing of Indigenous Australians, using culturally appropriate research methodologies.
