Researcher of the European Bronze Age with special focus on identity, household and material culture.
Current project on creativity and metallurgy. Also substantial research into gender, and the role of material
culture in the construction of gender.
Substantial research in the field of Heritage Studies with particular focus on socio-politics such as identity,
belonging and formation of communities. Also work on Heritage methods, and the nature of heritage as a
cultural product. Work on the role of cultural heritage after conflict.
Research on the early history of Cape Verde based on archaeological excavation
