 International and national projects beyond EU Framework Programme
1).Documentation reporting and Information Systems (DoRIS)
Client: Financial Mechanism Office FMO Brussels
Budget: 1 mil E excl VAT
Project duration; 12.2012-on going
Development environment: ASP.NET(C#), using SQL Server
Responsibilities:
- Management/classification of documents, full text searching and custom version control using SharePoint 2010;
- SharePoint and email integration;
- Generation of PDF documents;
- Creating data warehouse using Microsoft SQL Server Business Intelligence.
2). SUBLIMA: Inter-operable Topic-Centred Information Portals
The Norwegian Archive, Library and Museum Authority (ABM-utvikling)’s program on a Norwegian Digital Library has
led to the SUBLIMA project, in which an open standard based, open-source software for creation and drift of topic
portals is developed. Potential users of this software are libraries, archives, musea and other interestees wishing to
offer inter-operable topic-based portals to their users. In order to fulfil the requirements an implementation of a
complete opensource based stack based on W3C endorsed Semantic Web standards has been implemented.
3). CODIO: Smart Collaboration for Decision Making
The objective of the project was the development of an advanced decision support system for the drilling process with
focus on collaboration between the various agents involved in the activities. The CODIO system tackles both
coordination and decision complexity of a process. Coordination complexity is due to interactions between
geographically and organizationally distributed experts in a real-time information environment, while decision
complexity is inherent in the drilling domain itself, given unavoidable uncertainties about various technical aspects
(geology, equipment behavior, etc). Developed as a web based system, CODIO approaches each complexity dimension
and propose solutions based on business process technology, mathematical decision models, and a service-oriented
architecture. The pilot project was partially funded by the Norwegian Research Council through its DEMO 2000 program
(grant 206991/S60).
