 Details about Expertise / Competences / Technologies
The Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research (IOBE) aims in bridging academic knowledge with a thorough
understanding of the Greek industry and services. In order to achieve this goal, the Foundation occupies a team of 20
researchers. All of them have Master degrees, mainly in economics, business and finance fields, 2 of them are
University professors, 5 of them have a PhD degree in economics, while 6 of them are PhD students. Moreover, IOBE
has an extensive network of experts from the Greek academia, business and industry.

Our competences include impact assessment studies, feasibility studies, applied economic research on the Greek
economy and sectors, econometric analysis, field studies, taxation, entrepreneurship, structural reforms, programme
evaluation and other policy assessments. We have gained significant expertise in sectors of the Greek economy such
as Shipping, Tourism, Energy, Pharmaceuticals, Agrofoods, Mining, Manufacturing and Construction.
