The National Institute for Research and Cultural Training (NIRCT) – an institution subordinated to the Ministry of
Culture of Romania – is the only national institute that has as objective the specialised research and training the
professionals on the cultural sector. NIRCT can offer detailed statistical data on cultural and creative sectors.
Moreover, the Institute has databases with the cultural public institutions, organizations and professionals active in
cultural sector, yearly validated and updated. Our mission is to reach all the public cultural institutions, regardless of
their level of subordination, as well as organisations operating in the cultural sector – by means of research and
cultural training, in order to provide relevant statistical data on policies and strategies in the field of culture, at
national and international level
