 Brief description of your activity focus
The center was founded in 2010 to develop scientific, applied and action research on youth in the Campania Region and beyond

 Details about Expertise / Competences / Technologies
The youth centre focuses on the assets of young people and currently is prevalently working on two wide areas of research.
The first research stream aims to explore the components of youth citizenship involving either traditional forms of engagements such as civic and social participation and more innovative forms such as cultural citizenship, e-participation and e-governance.
The second research stream concentrates on youth employment looking at living and working conditions, atypical works and forms of precariety and the ways in which they alters life standardization.

The centre’s full and part-time staff includes young researchers and research professionals (senior social researchers, and professors) trained in evaluation methodology, social research methodology (qualitative and quantitative methods, research design, e-methods), sociology, social innovation, communication, public administrations.
