 International and national projects beyond EU Framework Programme
National projects:
• 2011 - 2012 evaluating quality of Russian universities R&D activities comparing to a world experience.
Innovations as a product of Russian university system. Looking for means of improving innovation potential of
Russian universities. Currently used R&D strategies used by Russian universities are modeled. Challenges and
benefits for potential of R&D strategies used by Russian universities are calculated. Research conducted in
cooperation with Higher school of economics and Academy of peoples economy under supervision of the federal
Ministry of Education and science.
• 2009-2010. Constructing image of modern Russian Federation in world politics with the means of public
diplomacy. Research was conducted with the financial support of Institute of social projecting (www.inop.ru) in
accordance with Russian Federation President order №160-рп, 16 march 2009.
2005-2007. Megauniversities in a modern world educational market. Their benefits and challenges they face
comparing to traditional universities. Modern university for the Humanities as an example of Mega university.
ICT role in development of mega universities in a modern world. Modern University for the Humanities, Moscow.

International projects:
• 2012-2014 joint research project with national university of Taiwan on change of national identity as a result of
participation in virtual network communities. A comparative research project, where Russian and Taiwanese
students` network communities are investigated. Financed by Russian Foundation of Humanitarian sciences and
National council on science.
• 2009-2011. Soft power technologies in governing transnational networks, where the main aspect is devoted to
the possibilities of non-state actors of World Politics to use soft power in the context of transnational
• 2007-2009. Development of transnational space and organizing social networks in the context of transcultural
communications. Main attention was given to the problems of constructing stable networks within transnational
space and these networks governing. Research was partly conducted on the base of Inter-cultural faculty, Kobe
university (Japan) with support of prof. SAKAI Kazunari.
2006 -2008. Changing Human capital in the context of transnational communications, where main aspect was
connected with the problem how Human capital quality influences effectiveness of personal participation in
transcultural communications and what are the most valuable Human
capital features, proving personal ability for governing transnational networks. Research was partly conducted on
the base of Inter-cultural faculty, Kobe Univerisy (Japan) with support of prof. SAKAI Kazunari.
