Study and philological edition of literary and memorialistic texts of the modern era (XVI-XVIII centuries).

 Details about Expertise / Competences / Technologies
The research group of the Catalan Literature in Modern Age of the Institut de Llengua i Cultura Catalanes will try to dig up unfamiliar texts, edit the most important literary works of the period, publishing introductory guides and bibliographic indexes (www.nise.cat), write interpretative summaries, study contact Catalan literature with other literatures and display avatars of the reception on the entire Catalan language territory.

The group activity focuses on establishing a set of tools necessary for the study and rigorous foundations of modern Catalan literature:
• a repertoire of literary testimonies theater.
• a repertoire of baroque poetry manuscripts and printed collections.
• a bibliography of editions and studies on Modern Catalan literature (medieval history and language) continually updated (www.quern.cat).
• a collection of edited texts with philological rigor.
• anthologies of texts for academic field.
• university textbooks on the subject of study.
• digital comunication and dissemination of Modern Literature
